A vintage Russian lacquered trinket box with hinged lid. Black box with red interior. The hand-painted lid represents a copy of an 1862 painting titled The Unequal Marriage by Vasili Pukirev, 1832 to 1890, a Russian academic artist. Fedoskino school. Signed by the artist, A.A.
