An antique late 19th-century Italian sterling silver candy dish or fruit bowl, a serving basket with movable handle. The rims and handle are decorated with grapevine motif filigree. The center of the piece is garnished with nine micromosaic medallions representing the ancient sights of Rome, as well as the Saint Peters cathedral in Vatican.
