An antique European rectangular shaped iron casket, money chest, with a wooden insert. The insert is covered with iron bands. The bands are riveted with wrought iron nails. The domed lid pivots on two hinged and has a forged handle. A pair of ring handles, on the sides. A locket is on the front. Completed with a key. Circa: late 18th century to early 19th century.
