A lot of Japanese porcelain plates Late Meiji or Showa period, first half of the 20th century. A set of 6 dessert plates. Each piece is hand-painted with a scene of geishas in the field. Gilded accents, red details and ornamental rims. The backside of each plate is garnished with a red grass motif and bears a hieroglyphical hallmark.
