A Russian 56 gold with decorative silver elements footed egg casket with a hinged lid. The piece is covered with white guilloche enamel with red accents. The overlay garland decor is embellished with diamonds and rubies. The front of the lid is decorated with the initials of the emperor Nicholas II. The cover has a figurative finial. An enameled figurative flower bouquet is mounted inside the casket. The cover is lined with velvet on the inner side. Jade base. The hallmark and maker marks are on the rims. Total Weight: 309 grams.
