A Russian silver egg shaped trinket box, divided into two halves and featuring a gilt wash interior. The exterior is adorned with polychrome, mostly blue-enameled floral patterns made using the cloisonne technique and two medallions painted with floral arrangements on a white enamel ground on both sides of the egg. Completed with a figural stand with four curved legs adorned with engraved patterns. Hallmarked with an 84 Imperial Russian silver standard, a kokoshnik mark and the makers mark.
