A glazed hand-painted figurine by Dahl-Jensen. The piece represents a standing polar bear. Fine detail work. Crowned hallmark DJ Copenhagen Denmark, 1157, masters signature are on the bottom. Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen, 1874 to 1960, was a Danish sculptor who founded his own porcelain manufacture in 1925. The Dahl-Jensen Porcelainfabrik was active until 1981.
