A rare antique Japanese late Meiji Era unusual shaped, probably cobra form, enamel over bronze vase. The vase is adorned with hand crafted panels depicting various scenes with ancients and workers under the trees. The neck and the panels are adorned with a scrollwork ornament made in the Cloisonne technique. The ware features a convex handles, covered with polychrome enameled floral and foliage motifs made in the same technique. The vase is decorated with round shaped panels, covered with polychrome image of a eyes, probably cobras eyes or mythical creature, on the both sides. The ground of the ware features a swirl pattern.
