Pencil on laid paper drawing. The artwork depicts a sketch portrait of Judy Garland, 1922 to 1969, an American actress. Signed by the artist in the lower right, Syre. Handwritten inscription on the backside: Summer of 1971, Judy Garland sketched by her director, Dennis Syre, who was my director in this summer production of the Boy Friend. The Boy Friend is a 1971 British musical comedy film written and directed by Ken Russell, starring Twiggy and Christopher Gable. Black mat, golden frame.
