A pair of German Scheibe Alsbach polychrome painted porcelain figurines, Kellermann and Lannes. The figurines are adorned with gilt accents and depicting French military leaders standing atop grassy terrain bases. Each is titled on the front of the base. Inscribed with the years of life, on the backside. Jean Lannes, 1st Duke of Montebello, Prince of Siewierz, 1769 to 1809, was a French military commander and a Marshal of the Empire who served during both the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Francois Christophe Kellermann, Duke de Valmy, 1735 to 1820, was a French military leader of the era of the Revolutionary Wars, hero of the battle of Valmy, under Napoleon I, honorary marshal France. Each is marked with a traditional blue ink hallmark, an impressed script, and numbered 12753, under the base. Circa: Mid to the late 20th Century.
