A Russian gilt silver standing frame. Rectangular shape, vertical oval hole for the picture. Pink guilloche enamel surface, ornamental overlay embellished with diamonds. The frame is topped with an Imperial crown. Portrait engraving of Russian Empress Catherine the Great is set in the frame. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers marks are on the backside.
