Haku Maki, Japanese, 1924 to 2000, woodcut print on paper, Poem 68 10. Signed in pencil, lower right. Titled in pencil, lower to the center. Numbered in pencil, 55 of 92, lower left. Signed with a red seal in the print, lower right. Framed. Haku Maki was a Japanese artist of the second half of the 20th century. He first made his name and his living by producing prints featuring Chinese characters kanji. Maki produced about 2000 different images. This makes him one of the most prolific Japanese print makers of his day. Mid century Asian and Oriental Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
