A large Russian gilt silver cloisonne enamel kovsh. Kovsh is a traditional oval-shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single handle. The item has a rounded body with a hooked decorated handle and a pronounced front. Enameled throughout with shaded floral ornaments, purple semiprecious stone cabochons embellish the body. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers mark are on the bottom. Collectible Russian Silverware Serveware Tableware. Weight: 60.6 g.
