Lev Kropivnitsky, Russian Soviet era, 1922 to 1994, a pair of etchings on paper depicting Figurative scenes. The first depicts a Surreal double portrait of a man and a fox, and a pair of nude female portraits, signed and dated 1977 in pencil, lower right. The second depicts an oval shaped scene with a rabbit and a cat, dated in the print 1987, lower right and left, signed and dated 1986 in pencil lower right. Lev Evgenievich Kropivnitsky is an artist, graphic artist, and poet, one of the most important masters of the Lianozovsky group, the first of the artistic centers of Moscow unofficial art, born during the Thaw era.
