An antique Hungarian Zsolnay Pecs reticulated porcelain decor made in a shape of a shell. The ware is made in a reticulated and scrollwork design, and glazed in fuchsia and gold shades. Marked with a factory ink stamp, an impressed stamp, Zsolnay Pecs, and numbered, 3318, on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century. A green lining on the side. Zsolnay, or formally Zsolnay Porcelanmanufaktura Zrt, Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory Private Limited, is a Hungarian manufacturer of porcelain, tiles, and stoneware. The company introduced the eosin glazing process and pyrogranite ceramics. Zsolnay creates hand painted porcelain since 1853.
