An antique Chinese Meiji era covered enamel over brass ginger jar The exterior of the jar is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming flowers and plants made in the Cloisonne technique. The domed cover is decorated with repeating stylized floral motifs, and a wavy ornament made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is adorned with a scrollwork pattern. The base features a geometrical motif made in the same technique. Circa: early 19th century. Unmarked.
