An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel over brass vase. The vase was made in a workshop, founded in Nagoya, Japan. Circa: late 19th century. The exterior of the vase is adorned with polychrome medallions depicting fans and flowers with images of butterflies, plants, and blossoming flowers surrounded by floral, foliage, geometrical, and swirl patterns made in the Cloisonne technique.
