An antique Chinese Meiji era covered enamel over brass trinket or jewelry box. The cover of the ware is enameled with a symmetrical polychrome image of dragons spewing flames over waves surrounded by cloud and geometrical motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The exterior of the box is adorned with a polychrome image of a dragon surrounded by cloud, wavy and flame motifs made in the same technique. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
