An antique Japanese bronze vase converted into a table lamp with modern electrical fittings. Late Meiji era, before 1912. The elongated vase rest on a footed base with pierced decor. The recto and verso sides of the vase are garnished with relief medallions depicting a samurai and blooming flowers with birds. The medallions are embellished with gilt inlay and engraved accents. The lamp has two light sockets with individual switches. Collectible Oriental Chinese Interior Decor And Light Fixtures.
