Mixed media artworks attributed to Lyubov Popova, 1889 to 1924, was a Russian avant-garde artist and designer who was a part of the Suprematist and Constructivist art movements. The front side is marked Vkhutemas in the upper right, signed by the artist and titled Scenic Architectonics no. 9 in pencil. The backside is also signed by the artist and titled Scenic Architectonics no. 10. Vkhutemas was the Russian state art and technical school active from 1920 to 1930, a center for three major movements in avant garde art and architecture: constructivism, rationalism, and suprematism.
