An antique Japanese silver vase. Late Meiji era, before 1912. The foot and the thin elongated gu shape neck are garnished with polychrome enamel accents. A dragon figure wraps around the neck. The body is covered with gold foil and hand-colored mother-of-pearl overlay representing a procession with umbrellas walking under the cherry blossoms. Fine detail work.
