Abel Pann, 1883 to 1963, Judaica color lithograph print depicting Jacob on his journey to Egypt. Signed by the artist lower right in the plate. Inscribed in pencil below from Genesis XXVIII, 10. The quote reads Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. Matted and framed. Abel Pann was a Russian-born Jewish painter and printmaker who settled in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem in the early 20th century and taught at the Bezalel Academy of Art under Boris Schatz.
