An antique Persian silver qalyan bowl or cup with a wooden shaft. Qajar Empire, 1795 to 1925. Taper or bell shape. The bowl is richly decorated with hand-painted enamel floral ornaments and has engraved accents. The shaft is garnished silver flower overlay and has a handwritten inscription in Arabic on the side.
