An antique French silver cutlery set comprising a fork, a server and two spoons intricately decorated with transparent plique a jour enamel in red and blue shades. Four pieces in total with small hallmarks on each. Housed in an original fitted leather box. Note: The plique a jour enamel is a technique in which the enamel is applied to the membranes in a thin layer, creating a luminous effect. Circa the late 19th or early 20th century.
