An antique mid to late 19th century Czech porcelain tea pair, a cup and a saucer. Executed for the Persian market. The piece are hand-painted with cobalt blue floral decor with gilt accents. An Arabic calligraphic blessing also garnished the cup. Fine detail work. Crowned crossed hammers mark on the bottom of the cup. Embossed mark F and M 4 on the bottom of the saucer. Pirkenhammer is a Bohemian porcelain manufactory established in 1803. It was known as Fischer and Mieg from ca. 1853 to 1908, when Wilhelmine Fischer and her husband Ludwig von Mieg owned the company.
