An antique Chinese copper tripod Jia vessel with a single handle. Qing Dynasty, 1636 to 1912. Three conical legs hold lower bowl section. The upper tapered section is closed with a hinged lid. The body of the vessel is garnished with cloisonne enamel ornaments. Decorative relief protruding elements on the sides. Jia is a Chinese ritual vessel type used to hold wine for the veneration of ancestors. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor.
