A pair of identical antique Japanese, late Meiji era, bronze and enamel vases. The amphora shaped vases are enameled with polychrome floral, foliage, and scrollwork motifs made in the Champleve technique, engraved with a swirl ornament. Each vase is decorated with a pair of figural handles made in a shape of a head of a Foo dog with an open mouth. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
