An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon representing Saint Prince Vsevolod of Pskov, known as Monomakh, a 12th-century Russian ruler. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board, gilding and chased decor. Titled in Church Slavonic underneath. Handwritten inscription on the backside: Saint Prince Vsevolod, after baptising Gabriel. Christian Orthodox Icons, Religious Items And Collectibles.
