The Iron Cross was a military decoration in the Kingdom of Prussia, and later in the German Empire 1871 to 1918 and Nazi Germany 1933 to 1945, completed with a ribbon. The second: a cross, engraved with a 1813 date, oak leaves to the center, and a crown on top, a W letter to the center, engraved with a date 1870, lower to the center, and a Grand Crown on top. The third: a WWi Iron Cross pin, enameled and engraved with detailed patterns, a crown upper to the center, a W letter to the center, and engraved with a date 1914, lower to the center on the front.
