Alexander Pushkin, 1799 to 1837, was a Russian writer of the Romantic era considered to be the greatest Russian poet and the founder of modern Russian literature. Ekaterina Pavlova, 1934 to 2015, was a Russian Soviet art historian and specialist in Pushkin studies. The book concetrates on the iconography of the poet in visual arts.
