The plate is adorned with floral and foliage motifs. the borders are decorated with mythological scenes with cherubs, male and female figures, and scalloped rims. Circa: 1950s to 1970s. Mark with a blue ink manufacturer stamp, on the backside. Capodimonte porcelain is porcelain created by the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory, which operated in Naples, Italy, between 1743 and 1759. Capodimonte is the most outstanding factory for early Italian porcelain, the Doccia porcelain of Florence being the other main Italian factory. Capodimonte is most famous for its moulded figurines.
