An antique mid-19th century porcelain charger by KPM. The white plate has gilt rims with cobalt blue ornamental decor. The center of the plate bears a hand-painted picture depicting the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin, Germany. Hallmark KPM with embossed number marks is on the backside. Titled Brandenburger Tor, 1830 on the backside. The Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, or KPM, was one of the most influential porcelain factories in 18th-century Germany, and it still operates today. Weight: 1236 grams.
