An Imperial Russian gunmetal cigarette case with a hinged lid. The clasp is embellished with a sapphire cabochon. The piece is richly decorated with gold mounts representing stylized monograms and personal signatures, as well as an elephant and two crossed cannons. There are two strap holders inside.
