A lot of finely modelled ancient Chinese Ming Dynasty sancai glazed pottery statuettes. The lot includes an altar table, standing on four legs, for different offering plates. Such terracotta compositions would have been made for funerary purposes, buried with the deceased in the belief that he or she could enjoy their favorite foods in the afterlife.
