An ancient Chinese Ming Dynasty green and ocher glazed earthenware pottery statue depicting a marriage bed. The ware is adorned with engraved detailed patterns. Originally used at the meeting point of the roof lines, this piece represented the peace and harmony of a happy marriage. Brilliant colors made it visible from afar and details rewarded a closer look. The rectangular openings on the sides indicate the place where the wooden beams of the roof were inserted. Circa: 1368 to 1644 AD. Ancient Asian and Oriental Pottery Table and Desk Wares, Figurines, Figures, Statues, Interior Design, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
