An ancient Achaemenid Empire flat silver bowl with a folded edge, rests on a round base. The well features an engraving of a rooster. Circa the 6th century BC. The Achaemenid Empire was the ancient Iranian empire founded by Cyrus the Great in 550 BC, known also as the First Persian Empire.
