Oil on canvas painting by Vladimir Ryklin, born 1934, a Russian-American artist of the Fantasy Realism movement. The artwork depicts a Surrealist compoisition, a mountain landscape with human figures. Inscription in Russian in the upper right is a quote from the Russian poet Afanasy Fet: Your youthful spirit lives in the melodies of the senile. A variation of the 1998 painting titled On the Backyard. Signed by the artist in the lower left. Marked Ryk-0002 on the backside. Wooden frame. Collectible Contemporary Figurative Fine Art.
