Lot 0211: RUSSIAN SILVER AND GOLD CIGARETTE CASE WITH MEDAL

A Russian sterling silver cigarette case with a gold-plated medal on the front and a lot of gold overlays on the back on the case including a gold corner. The medal represents Louis-Gabriel Suchet, 1770 to 1826, a French Marchal, inscription in French along the rim indicates his titles. The corner of the front lid bears the engraved initials ER. The backside of the case is decorated with an engraved inscription in Russian As a Keepsake and gold overlay signatures. The Hallmark of the 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the inner side.
