A World War II Nazi German military helmet, known as the Stahlhelm. A steel helmet intended to provide protection against shrapnel and fragments of grenades. Distinctive coal scuttle shape, matte black color. A shield with swastika on the left side, an SS emblem on the right side. The Schutzstaffel, or SS was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Nazi Germany. Second World War Historical Relics, Collectible Military Uniform Accessories.
