All five are decorated with flow blue transferware Madras pattern depicting an Asian landscape featuring curly-roofed pagodas and robed figures. Circa 1900s. Each plate is marked verso with a makers emblem inscribed: Royal Doulton England Madras, or Doulton Burslem England Madras.
