A rare and highly collectible Russian drinking ladle also called kovsh. Silver, gilding, polychrome cloisonne enamel on filigree. Decorated with finely detailed stylized floral and geometric Pan Slavic patterns in blue, white, pink and red enamel to the exterior and interior. The central part depicts a crowned double headed Russian Imperial eagle in a round medallion. Hallmarked with an 88 Russian silver standard, a kokoshnik mark and other Russian hallmarks.
