Additionally inscribed, on the backside. Framed. Provenance: Trinity International Auctions, Avon, CT, United States, November 12, 2022, lot 12A.David Teniers I is known for Landscape and religious theme painting. David Teniers II is known for Genre, landscape and religious scene painting. David Teniers the Younger was the more celebrated son of David Teniers the Elder, almost ranking in celebrity with Rubens and Van Dyck. He became a master of the Antwerp Guild of St Luke in 1632 to 1633 after an apprenticeship to his father, with whom he also collaborated. One of a kind artwork.
