A vintage Chinese patinated brass figurine representing Guan Yu, a Chinese military general of the late Eastern Han dynasty of China, early 3rd century AD. Guan Yu was deified in the late 6th century and is still worshipped today as a bodhisattva in Buddhist tradition and as a guardian deity in Chinese folk religion. Fine detail work.
