A large Mid 20th century glass globe with gilded meridians and parallels. Mounted on a brass stand. The Globe is made in the manner of The Forest company, a very well know French company which produced until the 1950s. This globe is made with a glass ball with gores glued over by hand, this superior craftsmanship disappeared shortly after the 1960s.
