Exter, lower left. Alexandra Exter or Ekster, the suprematist and constructivist painter, designer, and co-founder of the Art Deco movement, was born on January 6, 1882, in Belostock, Russia. In 1907, she studied at the Kyiv art school, then in Paris. From 1908 to 1924, Exter lived in Kiev, St. Petersburg, Odesa, Paris, Rome, and Moscow. In 1908, Exter showed up together with the members of the group Zveno in Kyiv. One of a kind of artwork.
