A very picturesque and skillfully hand knotted Qum Persian silk carpet by Rajabian. The carpet depicts an idyllic landscape with ducks swimming in a stream, flowers and trees on the banks and birds flying in the sky. The border is decorated with traditional floral ornaments on an olive background. The carpet has a large number of shades and very good detail. Signed in Farsi and in Latin in the cartouche on top: Rajabian Abolfazl. Note: Mr. Abolfazl Rajabian is one of the successful exporters of Iranian hand made carpets.
