A pair of antique Japanese Meiji period enamel over brass vases. Each vase has an amphora shaped body and a narrow neck. The vase is enameled with a polychrome image of a dragon made in the Cloisonne technique on black ground. The neck and the base of the vase are adorned with polychrome floral and foliage patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
