A fine antique 19th century Meissen type porcelain kerosene lamp, the base is modeled as a white porcelain globular-form vase interviewed with beautifully detailed flowers and supported by three polychrome hand painted cherubs, raised on a ground-like base. Finely modeled and neatly painted. The kerosene lamp is marked: Roitmar Wien, Messengers Patent. Presumably Dresden, from the mid to late 19th century.
