An antique American Edward Caldwell gilt brass desk clock featuring a decorated twisted rim to the frame and ornamental supportings. It has tasseled chain swags. An oval cameo of a figure sits just below the clock. The porcelain clock dial has Roman numerals and gilt pierced hands. Stands on a marble base. Circa the end of the 19th century.
