An antique Indian brass and copper alloy tikka box featuring six heart shaped containers with hinged lids and finials in the form of peacock, each opens and closes independently. The main finial is a peacock which is a sacred Indian bird. The finial unscrews releasing the lids. Handcrafted by artisans in Uttar Pradesh, India, circa the late 19th century.
